He looked up and asked us: ‘Social workers… have you forgotten us?’
He wasn’t asking for money. He was asking for rain gear. For dignity. For shelter from the next storm.
We see him. We remember him.
We are still far away to reach our goal of $2,500 but $274 in and $2,226 to go… but with or without the goal we have decided by the end of this month to purchase rain gear from whatever amount raised and help with those who we can help to get a protection.
