MORE SOCIAL WORK INTERNS ARE RECEIVING TRAINING AT SWSL
On Tuesday we welcomed 40 new social work- interns assigned by the department of Social Work and Sociology of Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Similarly, in April, the department assigned 40 students for internship who are still carrying out their internship. In addition, there are students from the Gender Department and Peace and Conflict doing their internship. This makes a total of 89 interns placed at SWSL which is the largest number so far with the number increasing each year.
We are happy to support the students with their internships, especially for the social work students. Here, students will be exposed to experiential learning with the focus on connecting theory and social work practice.
If anyone is interested to provide support to our internship opportunity, please reach out. Let’s build the future for social workers, together for the interest of our noble profession and service users.
