Great news!

Caritars Freetown, together with Tzu Chi, donated ten bags of Rice (50kg) and 50 bags of Gari to support the Sunday food service run by social workers in Sierra Leone for persons experiencing homelessness and mental health challenges.

Both organisations have remained major donors since the introduction of the Sunday homeless meal service way back in 2018 as such people undergo difficulties in meeting their basic needs.

Access to healthy food is a significant issue which undermines their dignity as this leads to some eating from dustbins or being left over’s. Such donations strengthen our food drive to make healthy food accessible to these fellow human beings. We all have a role to play in the lives of persons experiencing homelessness and mental health challenges to maintain their human dignity. Thanks, Caritars Freetown and Tzu Chi. Together we can. You, too, can make a donation or volunteer with us.
