Social Workers Sierra Leone (SWSL) Appeals: Give Hope to Children of Disabled Parents this Back-to-School Season!
As we prepare for the September 2025 school reopening, our campaign runs until the end of August, seeking your support to equip 50 children of disabled parents with essential school materials.
The Challenge: These children face significant obstacles, including an 87% chance of dropping out due to lack of support, and many are forced to beg instead of attending school.

Our Goal: Raise $3,750 to support 50 children with backpacks, shoes, uniforms, and books.
- Current Progress: We’ve raised $825 from 9 generous donors, supporting 11 children. However, 43 children still need our help.
How You Can Help:
1. Donate $75 or more to sponsor a child for the school year
2. Share this campaign with friends and family
3. Empower these children to create a better life

Why This Matters: Education can break the cycle of poverty and begging, giving these children a chance at a brighter future.
Previous Success: In 2023 and 2024, we successfully provided back-to-school kits to dozens of children of disabled parents.
