When we neglect them – the result is painful suffering and death!!๐๐
Aruna is gone- he died a homeless man after over 10 years of being homeless.
One man who was fun to be with, and will pray for us before he puts forward his problem/s every Sunday, during the homeless meal service. Aruna died without knowing the cause of his death but while he was alive, he was battling with several illnesses, one clear illness amongst those was chronic cold, as well as mental health challenges. By his physical looks, he always presented swollen feet which he himself admitted was a result of cold.
Aruna is gone today like many others, yet the major causes of death of persons experiencing homelessness are the exposure to harsh weather conditions, especially during the rainy season without protection and the lack of access to health care.
Unfortunately, we lost Aruna, May his soul Rest In Peace and others who died in a similar way.
Now, that we have started experiencing rains, people experiencing homelessness are in need of help to help them reduce the suffering associated with the harsh weather conditions. We have considered asking for a quick and a practical solution to this. To supply them with tarpaulins and raincoats. Itโs temporary but it can help reduce the suffering to be beaten by the heavy rains. The shocking part is when the rain comes and get them wet, they have no way to change their clothes, one reason responsible for the chronic cold most of them suffer from.
Weโre asking you to please donate $30, (le, 300,000) for the purchase of both tarpaulin and a raincoat ($18 -le, 180,000 will buy one tarpaulin and $12-le, 120,000 will buy one raincoat). Our intention is to help secure a tarpaulin and raincoat for every homeless person – Too difficult to give exact number of people experiencing homelessness.
We missed to save Arunaโs life. Let’s try to save others. Please donate here:https://www.paypal.me/liftavillage and indicate the purpose. For Salone you can donate via orang money +23276448932. Help an homeless person during this rainy season#2022 to be healthy. God bless you!
